Dr. Andrew R. Walker graduated from UC Davis in 1996 and returned to his hometown of Fallbrook, CA to pursue a career in large animal veterinary medicine. Dr. Walker enjoys the challenge of ambulatory vet service, delivering high quality care to the home or farm. He understands how this on-site service relieves the stress of transport for both patient and client. Of particular professional interest are the areas of ultra-sound diagnosis and physical therapy to maintain soundness. The expanding field of equine dentistry is another exciting arena for Dr. Walker. The benefits of comprehensive dental care can improve and enhance overall equine health.

The doctor’s personal interests revolve around his home and family. Dr Walker and his wife, Bethany, have just recently adpoted a new little girl from China, her name is Hope Shawn(1). They also have four other wonderful children: William and Travis (8), Delaney (5) and Joshua (3). A favorite pastime for this dad is simply “Playing with the kids!” Gardening and reading are also activities of choice when time allows.

Dr. Walker teamed up with Dr. Steven Colburn in 1996 to form Colburn-Walker Veterinary Service, Inc. The practice, now known as “Creekside Veterinary Service”, boasts four doctors plus a complete office staff and pharmacy.
