This feed contains added selenium at 0.29 mg/lb. (0.64 ppm) CAUTION:  Feeding Selenium at levels in the total diet in excess of 0.3 ppm (0.136 mg/lb) in the total diet is prohibited.

Feeding instructions: A) Mix this ration with other feeds not to exceed 0.3 ppm of Selenium per ton. Adding 936 pounds per ton will provide 0.30 ppm of added selenium in the finished feed. Consult your nutritionist for proper feeding instructions.

Feeding Directions

 

Pleasure Horses

Feed at a rate of .5% of bodyweight per day with good quality hay or pasture

 

Performance Horses

Feed at a rate of .5% to 1.25% of body weight depending on the activity level and the condition of the horse.  Feed with good quality hay or pasture.

 

Pregnant Mares

Feed at a rate of .6% to .75% of bodyweight per day with good quality hay or pasture.

 

Lactating Mares

Feed at a rate of 1.25% to1.50% of bodyweight per day with good quality hay or pasture.

 

Growing Horses

Feed at a rate of 1.0% to 1.5% of bodyweight per day with good quality hay or pasture.

 

Stallions

Feed at a rate of  .75% to 1.0% bodyweight per day with good quality hay or pasture.

 

Make sure horses receive a minimum of 1.0% of bodyweight in good quality hay or its equivalent pasture per day.
